Study & Work in Mindful Presence

Are you a student or a busy professional who wishes to bring more calm, clarity, and focus into your daily grind? This group is designed to help you integrate mindfulness into your study or work routine—no matter how hectic it may seem.

Led by Garrett, a Zen priest-in-training, we’ll create a supportive, practice-oriented environment where every task can become an opportunity for awareness. We’ll gather online during our usual working or studying periods. A gentle bell will sound every 10 minutes as a reminder to return your attention to the present moment. At the 55-minute mark of each hour, we’ll pause for a short, guided 5-minute meditation.

By weaving these structured intervals of quiet reflection into our day, we cultivate sustained concentration, reduce stress, and learn to engage more fully with whatever we’re doing—be it reading a textbook, drafting a report, or solving a complex problem.

This isn’t just about “fitting mindfulness in.” It’s about transforming the way we approach every moment, ripening and maximizing our awareness so that we may live, learn, and work with greater ease and authenticity.
