The core idea is leapfrogging. AI agents let the Global South, including Vietnam, skip low level outsourcing and legacy software and go straight to teams of AI agents doing the work, building the products, and serving the world.
This extends San's Autumn Economic Forum talk and his Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam interview. WorkOptional is building an East-West AI research institute, educational academy, and investment platform for the AI agent economy in the Global South, starting in Vietnam and drawing on Vietnam's bamboo diplomacy.
San will show where builders and allocators in Vietnam and globally can capitalize on the AI agent economy.
