Winter Version - Oreum Hike

Hi all,

Anyone keen on hiking YoungSil (영실)? It is finally opened and it will be a good chance to catch winter view of the mountain! Wootz!

It is expected to rain this weekends; so, the weather check will be 7am on 1st of March, 2025.

Things to Bring
1. Crampons * (must! if you don't have a pair, it seems like you can get at the entrance at 35,000 won. Ref: appendix 2)
2. Poncho (must!)
3. Water
4. (Emergency) Snacks
5. Walking Sticks (FYI - I don't have one too, so I am not using one !)
5. Anything that keeps you warm
