About us
NEW BOOK CLUB IN TORONTO
World Fiction Club is a monthly book club in Toronto for readers in their mid-20s to mid-30s who want to read fiction from around the world, published between 1500 and 1950.
Each year, the club moves through four literary regions:
1. January to March: Europe
2. April to June: the Americas
3. July to September: Asia
4. October to December: Africa and the Middle East
Each quarter, we choose one country from that region and read three works from different periods. We move backward through time, starting with a more recent work and ending with an older or foundational text.
We meet on the last Sunday of each month, 2:00–4:00 PM. The full reading schedule is listed in advance. RSVPs open 4 weeks before each meeting. The location will be posted with each booking.
