Welcome to Rapture!
We’ll be running a 5e D&D campaign inspired by BioShock — 2007’s Game of the Year. It’s set in an underwater city in the 1950s, where an anarchist tycoon and his ruthless rival plunge society into chaos using ADAM, a drug that grants superhuman abilities… at the cost of your sanity.
This is a non-canon prequel that stays true to the series’ heart — the atmosphere, moral tension, and sense of discovery — while telling a brand-new story.
Game Details:
• System: D&D 5e
• Classes Available: Fighter, Armorer Artificer, Rogue, and my homebrewed Gunslinger (Fighter subclass)
• Race: You can choose any 5e race for its mechanics, but in-universe you are human.
• Schedule: Once a week, 4–6 hour sessions. I’m free all day Monday & Tuesday — final day/time will be set by the group.
• Start Date: 1–2 weeks after we have 4 players.
• Expected Length: 6–12 months.
• Game Location: Paramus NJ, this is an in-person campaign, not online.
What I’m Looking For:
• 4 players (no more, no less) — all roles are vital.
• 18+ only.
• Any experience level welcome — BioShock veterans will catch more details, but newcomers can enjoy the world just as much.
• Please only join if you can attend at least 90% of sessions and are in for the long haul.
The entire campaign is fully written and ready — no delays, no filler. I’ve worked hard to make this the kind of story I always wanted as a player: immersive, emotional, and unforgettable.
