World Photography Group

Join us for a relaxed, guided photography walk through the colourful streets of Newtown—exploring its culture, architecture, murals, people, cafés and distinctive shopfronts.
This is a fun shooting session rather than a formal photography class. You are welcome to ask questions about cameras, settings or photography along the way, and brief practical guidance will be provided.
We may continue a little beyond 4:30 pm when the light and atmosphere are especially good. Afterwards, members are welcome to join us for an optional group dinner.
Attendance is free. Voluntary contributions to the mentor are welcome and help cover the ongoing cost of maintaining the group.

This event is for photographers using DSLR, mirrorless or film cameras. Phone-only photography is not included in this session.
Bring your camera, comfortable walking shoes and a curious eye. All experience levels are welcome, but the emphasis is on enjoying photography, exploring Newtown and meeting other photographers.
