Experience one of the most iconic hikes in the U.S. — The Narrows in Zion National Park. This world-famous trail takes you through the narrowest section of Zion Canyon, where you’ll hike directly through the Virgin River, surrounded by towering canyon walls over 1,000 feet high.
This challenging 12-mile round-trip hike includes a scenic 1-mile detour into Orderville Canyon, our planned lunch spot halfway through the journey. With 70% of the trail in water, proper gear and preparation are essential for a safe and memorable experience.
This hike is a bucket-list-worthy adventure for experienced hikers seeking unique slot canyon views, cool river walking, and nature at its most raw and beautiful.***

### 🥾 Hike Overview:
- Trail: Bottom-Up Narrows + Orderville Canyon side trip
- Distance: ~12 miles round trip
- Hiking Time: ~8 hours (including photo and lunch breaks)
- Elevation Gain: Minimal
- Difficulty: Moderately strenuous
- Drive Time: 3 hours each way (Note: Utah is +1 hour ahead)
- Weather: Cooler in the river and shaded canyons – forecast checked the day prior

### ❌ Important Notes – Please Read Before Signing Up:
- This hike is not for beginners (its not that I dislike Beginners, I am just not capable of taking care of Beginners)
- No dogs allowed (unless your dogs are well trained, also the water is not potable)
- No kids under 10; minors must be supervised by a parent
- Everyone is waitlisted by default until confirmed
- Not suitable for anyone afraid of slippery rocks, water crossings, or narrow spaces
- No guests allowed due to safety and liability restrictions

### 🎒 What to Bring:
- National Park Pass (if you have one)
- ~$30 for your driver (carpool gas contribution)
- ~$25 for post-hike dinner
- Breakfast/snack for the drive
- Lunch for the trail
- Hat, sunglasses, and sunblock
- At least 2 liters of water
- Dry bag to protect valuables
- Sturdy water shoes or hiking boots with ankle support and good grip (no flimsy shoes)
- Wool, bamboo, or neoprene socks (avoid cotton)
- Camera + waterproof bag
- 2 hiking poles or walking sticks (river rocks can be slick)
