### Description

In this tour we will be introduced to the beautiful town of Winchester, the ancient capital of England in Anglo-Saxon times. The tour will take us through the upper level of the hill in Winchester where we will see the ruins of the Castle built by William the Conqueror.
We will also visit the remainder of the castle: the building known as the Great Hall, one of the best preserved medieval halls in northern Europe. Here you will also have the chance to solve the mystery of the famous Round Table of King Arthur!
The Tour will end at the Peninsula Barracks, the last attempt to revitalize the city of Winchester after the destruction of the English Civil War.
