This tour takes us **more than 3,500 years into the past** to the Late Bronze Age, when Hattusa thrived as a bustling centre of political power, trade, and cultural exchange.
Located **in central Anatolia, modern Turkey**, **Hattusa** is best known for its mighty fortifications, magnificent temples, and intricate city planning. We will visit the Great Temple, the Lion Gate, and the Royal Palace, shedding light on the** impressive engineering and artistic skills of Hittite society**.
Beyond the engineering marvels, we will see **how the Hittites interacted with their neighbours and adversaries**, and delve into the daily life of Hattusa’s inhabitants, witnessing the rich religious traditions and the intricate social structures of this ancient city.
