The World Chess Hall of Fame is proud to welcome Zlatomir Fung, the youngest cellist ever to win the First Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. Zlatomir will be joined by cellist and composer Quenton Blache to present a brand-new composition inspired by recent chess tournaments, as well as several classical favorites. Don’t miss this one-night event celebrating the future of music and chess!
Zlatomir Fung is poised to become one of the preeminent cellists of our time, already touring globally as a soloist with orchestras in the United Kingdom, United States, and China. As a devotee of chess alongside his passion for music, Zlatomir is thrilled to perform for the first time at the World Chess Hall of Fame as part of this special Commission Concert.
