☕🌸 Discuss & Saturday Social: do self-help & self-development really work?
Bluebird Restaurant, 350 King's Road, London, GBSelf-love, self-improvement, self-help, self-development... what do they really mean? Can they really make a difference? Especially nowadays in the age of apps, Instagram and AI? Are we enough as we are, or do we need to grow more, do more, be more, in order to love ourselves? What are the potential issues of each approach?
Join our special "Discuss & Social + Saturday Cafe" joint edition at Bluebird Cafe, one of the most beautiful venues in Chelsea, for a chance to slow down and talk about these key questions in a genuine, safe and confidential space.
At World Citizens we always learn and share different perspectives based on the different life experiences and cultural backgrounds of the variety of people who join. If you're curious, open-minded and enjoy good conversations, this is a very good space to learn something new while making new friends!
✨ What to Expect:
• A welcoming table or two at the beautiful Bluebird Cafe in Chelsea.
• A small, friendly group (usually 15–25 people) of locals, expats, and curious minds
• Low-pressure, real conversations and occasional hosted discussions —no awkward cliques
• Options: relaxed walk after the cafe, or maybe museums/galleries nearby🕑 Time & Place:
Arrive anytime between 2:00–4:00 PM
We meet in a café usually somewhere between South Kensington, Gloucester Road or Sloane Square stations (or more broadly in West London - location for each week updated on the Meetup page here).
Just grab your own drink/snack—there’s no event fee.🌍 Who It’s For:
• 20s & 30s: young professionals, grad students, creatives, internationals

• Solo newcomers, returning members, and plus-ones are all welcome
We always encourage diverse, inclusive and equal representation at our events ❤️🤝 Why We Do This:
