Since 2012 we run weekly socials, excursions and cultural activities while fostering a safe, inclusive and civilised atmosphere.
All our events are volunteer-run, so if you'd like to join or help our team, please message our team account "TP".

It's both London Fashion Week and London Design Festival so we're doing an exclusive night in Mayfair as it's the perfect time to be in the city's most iconic neighbourhood for design and elegance. Just a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus and Bond Street, we'll meet at a stylish yet minimalist venue offering the perfect backdrop for laid-back conversations and new international connections.
Get ready for a creative twist, lots of new people, and the perfect start to the weekend!

Our Friday Social is the warm, conversation-friendly alternative to the typical nights out. Whether you're new to London or have been here for years, you're very welcome!

We typically host 60–90 people each week, and many attendees return regularly!

🎟 How to Join – Entry by Free Lottery
To ensure a safe, inclusive and diverse space, attendance is limited and managed through a free lottery system. This helps us keep a great group dynamic and prevent overcrowding.

⏰ Timing: Arrive anytime from 7:00 PM. Most people stay until 11PM (or head to the after-party!).
📍 Location: A stylish pub in Mayfair (5 mins walk Oxford Circus and Bond Street). Exact address is shared with lottery winners only.***

• A small, friendly group (usually 15–25 people) of locals, expats, and curious minds
• Low-pressure, real conversations and occasional hosted discussions —no awkward cliques

We meet in a café usually somewhere between South Kensington, Gloucester Road or Sloane Square stations (or more broadly in West London - location for each week updated on the Meetup page here).

How to participate? You must enter our ticket lottery at https://worldcitizenfridays.eventbrite.co.uk!
- If you're picked, you will receive an invitation email with the secret venue address on Thursday or Friday.
- The lottery helps us balance quantity and quality, and gives everyone a chance to experience safe, diverse and culturally enriching events.
- So expect less attendees than the number of RSVP, but more quality time connecting with everyone in a meaningful way!Event details

-Where? The secret location changes every week, but it is usually within 1 or 2 tube stops from the London Bridge/Monument area.

We put women first: Over 80% of women in the UK say that nightlife is unsafe (YouGov Oct 2021 poll) because of predator men and alcohol/substance abuse. We want to completely change that: World Citizens proactively designs event systems for everyone to enjoy a safe and pleasant evening.
