This Friday, we’re meeting in one of London’s oldest historic pubs, a hidden gem where a major event happened nearly 400 years ago. Step inside and you’ll feel centuries of stories in the walls… but tonight, we’ll be adding our own!

Expect a warm, easygoing crowd of internationals and Londoners in their 20s and 30s - people who love meeting new faces and sharing spontaneous conversations over drinks. Whether you come solo or with a friend, our hosts will make sure you’re introduced and feel at home.

đź’¬ What to Expect:

  • Friendly, balanced crowd (around age 20s to 30s, mix of backgrounds and nationalities)
  • Great conversations, not just small talk
  • A lively, character-filled venue filled with history
  • Optional afterparty nearby for those who want to stay out late

đź’ˇTip: Arrive early to start the good conversations!

Join us for another classic Friday where the atmosphere is historic, but the connections are brand new.

How to participate? You must enter our ticket lottery at https://worldcitizenfridays.eventbrite.co.uk!
- If you're picked, you will receive an invitation email with the secret venue address by Thursday or Friday.
- The lottery helps us balance quantity and quality, and gives everyone a chance to experience safe, diverse and culturally enriching events.
- So expect less attendees than the number of RSVP, but more quality time connecting with everyone in a meaningful way!

We put women first: Over 80% of women in the UK say that nightlife is unsafe (YouGov Oct 2021 poll) because of predator men and alcohol/substance abuse. We want to completely change that: World Citizens proactively designs event systems for everyone to enjoy a safe and pleasant evening.

JOIN OUR TEAM! We're all volunteers doing this for fun, so if you enjoy organizing activities or events in your spare time, and meeting great people every week, send a message to our team account "TP".
