Comments
We'll start at the Sam's Gap parking area off of I26 north of Mars Hill. We'll hike south on the AT approximately 2 1/2 miles to Hog Back Ridge Shelter. Any hike on the AT is awesome, and any hike with this group is even awesomer! Should be a great hike and worth the drive! Lunch at Soba in Weaverville afterwards for all interested.
