AI: What It Means for Your Work, Your Business, and What Comes Next
Details
This July, WorthingDigital and The Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce present "AI: What It Means for Your Work, Your Business, and What Comes Next", supported by Adur & Worthing Councils.
We’ll bring you two practical talks and a panel discussion exploring what AI really means for your work and your business right now.
AI for Small Business — Practical Tools You Can Use This Week. Anjani Sharma - AI Transformers
If you’ve been hearing a lot about AI but aren’t quite sure what it actually means for your business, this session is for you. It takes a straightforward, no-nonsense look at how SMEs are already using AI to save time, improve customer experience, and grow without adding headcount. With live demos, practical tools, and a simple framework to help you get started, you’ll leave with ideas you can actually use, not just theory.
Will AI Take Your Job? Dominic Messenger - Technology Matters
AI is already changing how we work, but not always in the ways people expect. This session takes a straight-talking look at what’s actually happening on the ground, from freelancers and small teams using AI to extend their reach, through to the bigger shifts in how organisations make decisions and manage risk. It’s practical, honest, and designed to leave you with a clearer sense of where you fit in an AI-shaped world.
Panel Discussion
Our speakers Anjani and Dominic will be joined by Simon Millier, Head of Technology & Design at Adur and Worthing Councils and Mark Ford, WorthingDigital founder and Digital Transformation Consultant, to answer your questions on AI and how it will affect you.
Our Speakers:
Anjani is an AI consultant and founder of AI Transformers, a Brighton-based consultancy specialising in AI adoption, voice and chat automation, and workflow integration for small and medium-sized businesses. With hands-on expertise across AI product development, no-code implementation, and intelligent voice agents, Anjani helps organisations identify practical, high-impact AI solutions tailored to their needs.
Dominic Messenger is a technology leader and data platform architect with over two decades of experience delivering large-scale data and cloud programmes across public and private sectors. He has led national-scale initiatives, designing and implementing platforms that integrate complex data landscapes and support critical operations. As founder of multiple organisations, he focuses on building data capability within organisations, not dependency on external providers. His work increasingly centres on creating AI-ready data foundations, enabling organisations to adopt advanced analytics and AI safely and effectively while improving decision-making, reducing risk, and accelerating the path from data to insight.
