Did you know that human trafficking is a $150 billion black market industry, growing at a faster pace than the illegal arms trade worldwide? Did you know a large portion of this industry involves the sexual exploitation of children and that every 26 seconds, a child is trafficked with the average age of trafficked children being just 15?

Destiny Rescue is headquartered on the Sunshine Coast, operating in several nations carrying out surveillance, raids, and the rehabilitation of those caught in human trafficking, specifically those being sexually exploited.

By attending this event you will be part of a like-minded group of people who are committed to acknowledging, calling it out and ending the exploitation of children through human trafficking.
The lunch will include*:

Lorna Willis | Key Note Speaker
Your Attitude - Determines Your Altitude is an empowering speech that focuses on Lorna’s personal journey of tackling a formidable challenge: the 101 million dollar Lowanna Beach Resort project. This speech delves into how embracing a courageous and positive attitude can transform seemingly insurmountable challenges into remarkable successes.
Lorna bravely and honestly shares the story of how she took on the ambitious and daunting task of leading the Lowanna Beach Resort project, a venture that demanded not only a significant financial commitment but also required immense strategic planning, resilience, and leadership skills. This project was not just a business endeavour; it was a test of tenacity, vision, and the ability to think outside the box.

This speech is a call to action for everyone to recognise that their attitude plays a crucial role in their journey to success. It's about encouraging the audience to dream big, plan strategically, and act boldly, demonstrating that with the right mindset, any challenge can be a gateway to extraordinary achievements.

Paul Mergard | Destiny Rescue CEO
For two decades, Paul has fought for the rights of children trapped in the most horrific situations, both in Australia and overseas. Paul has seen first-hand the catastrophic impact that human trafficking had on the lives of children. He has also witnessed the exhilaration and sheer relief of victims when freed.

Emma is the co-founder of Vivid Homes, a company she established in 2012 alongside her husband Tony. In 2019, Emma's life took a transformative turn when she traveled with Destiny Rescue to South East Asia.
