Design freedom is the ability to customise and control a website’s appearance, structure and functionality.

Do you still use the Classic Editor - or rely on page builders like Elementor?

In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll explore how WordPress’s block editor provides flexibility, especially when combined with the Kadence theme and blocks. This hybrid approach gives you full control over design and functionality, without the bloat of traditional page builders or the complexity of Full Site Editing.

Topics we’ll cover:

  • Why the block editor is more powerful than Classic Editor (and page builders)
  • Setting up global styles, colours and typography
  • Designing complete pages with Kadence blocks
  • Building custom headers and menus
  • Adding extra functionality with hooked elements

It is free to join online - you need to install the free Zoom app (https://zoom.us) to join.
