From Camera to Community: Contributing to WordPress Photo Directory

This meetup will introduce the WordPress Photo Directory and show how community members can contribute original, freely usable photos to the WordPress ecosystem.

The WordPress Photo Directory is a great way to contribute to WordPress beyond code. In this session, we will discuss what it is, why photo contributions matter, and how you can submit your own photos.

We will also go through the basic photo contribution guidelines, including choosing original and clear photos that are suitable for public use. Photos should avoid recognizable faces, personal information, vehicle number plates, private addresses, heavy editing, collages, or text-heavy content.

Whether you enjoy photography, want to contribute to WordPress, or are simply curious about non-code contribution, this meetup is for you.
