Modern QA approaches

QA duties and QA tools are evolving as fast as never before. QAs become highly involved in team processes, automation, DevOps, support and everything else in cross-functional teams. Things are even speeding-up and scaling-up constantly. In our meetup, we want to touch different aspects of QA life in modern processes, different tools, and approaches that help to stay on top of things.

In many business cases, product development and testing processes evolved to agile approaches.
Testing infrastructure and test documentation are falling behind. We usually stick to traditional ways of working with test documentation, use traditional tools and try to stretch them to our evolving needs. It’s time to leap the gap to satisfy and leverage from speeding up processes, intensive test automation, and close collaboration in cross-functional teams. In this talk, we want to cover both processes transformation and particular approaches and tools like Allure and Allure Server that help to support a new way of working with test documentation and tests in general.

4. Stas Davydov, Sergey Potanin, Ivan Varivoda – How to save a year of your time every day

One of the important parts of modern SAS solutions is the process of delivering new features to customers - deploy. Fast deploy in turn directly depends on the quality of testing automation. We will talk about how testing automation arranged in Wrike and how it helps us to keep the whole year every day. And we will also discuss the key aspects of automation’s quality.
We will consider such topics: Parallel test run, test infrastructure, effective tools for control tests’ code quality, tests’ quarantine and monitoring tests’ life.
