Cian’s been involved in all sorts—from helping shape stories behind the scenes 🧠📄 to collaborating with other creatives to bring short films to life 🎞️. He’s worked with broadcasters like the BBC and Channel 4, but also plenty of smaller, scrappier projects where you’re juggling a bit of everything 🤹‍♂️ (as many freelancers know all too well 💼).

In this session, we’ll talk about some of the more interesting corners of TV and content production 🧩, what it’s really like freelancing in the creative industries 🎭💬, and maybe even stumble into a few ideas—Cian’s, mine, or something that pops up between us during the conversation 💡🗯️.

This isn’t a workshop, but there will be a short writing exercise ✍️ you can do quietly in the background (camera off 🎥🙈, no sharing needed). It’s just a gentle prompt to help you explore an idea for a novel or film 📚🎞️.
