## About the Event

Design Your Book! Character Arc Through Front Cover to Blurb: An Online Writing Workshop
For anybody, of whatever level, who genuinely wants to write a book this year.

You have a book in you, and you know it!

This evening is about making it actually feel real.

We'll start with your main character, clarify their traits, desires, and flaws, then map the essential arc of your story: where it begins, what changes, and where it lands.

Then we'll make it visible.

Drawing on symbols and images that capture your book's spirit, we'll prompt you to design your front cover using Canva, pen and paper, collage or whatever suits you (*No artistic skill required, just a willingness to play).

Finally, we'll help you write your blurb and the back cover of your book!

By the end of the evening, it'll be like you're holding your book in your hands before you've even written it. And from experience, we know this is precisely the push you need to get on and write it!

This is a standalone workshop, open to anyone.

But if you're thinking about joining our 30-Day Writing Challenge this November. it's also the perfect way to have fun and clarify your idea before we start.

When: Wednesday, 7pm to 9:30pm (UK time/GMT)

Where: Online via Zoom

What to bring: Your book or character idea (doesn't matter how rudimentary or rough it is - we'll solve that together!), something to write with, and a pad and pencils or a free Canva account.

Price: £5 only. (*normally £12.50 for our online workshops).
