How about a promotion? Is it time to develop an exit plan? Let’s discuss strategies for renegotiating salaries and job responsibilities. And let’s acknowledge that sometimes, our employers can’t meet our needs. When is it time to seek a new opportunity? How can we make that transition smoothly? Join us to share your challenges, questions, and advice.
- Have you thought about asking for more money or responsibilities in a current job or a previous job? Did you do it, and were you successful? Did you decide it was time to move on?
- How can we demonstrate our impact and market value? How do we make our story compelling to the people who balance the company budget?
- Salary conversations can be challenging for people who rarely talk about money. What are some specific steps we can take to prepare for them?
- What other forms of compensation might we consider?
- If we want to stay put, and we’ve outgrown our current responsibilities, how can we identify other responsibilities to pursue?
- How do we evaluate overall satisfaction with our current job? Besides salary, what are the intangibles that really matter?
- What does a strategic exit plan look like? What are some of the first steps we should take? What should we be careful not to do?
