Focused conversation: Getting user feedback on docs

Details
Join us for our focused and friendly conversation about getting user feedback on our docs before our summer break. We’re taking the month of August off and will resume events on Sept. 8.
We know that feedback is golden, and we want our users to make us rich. Let’s elevate our collective wisdom on how we mine for feedback.
- Does your docs site have a feedback mechanism?
- How do you gather feedback from users?
- Do you provide feedback on other docs sites?
Our Write the Docs community provides these helpful resources:
- WTD Newsletter Sept 2022 Collecting helpful user feedback Widget benefits
- WTD Newsletter – Dec 2019 Documentation feedback widgets - thumbs up or down? Tool suggestions and suggested reading
- WTD Prague 2022: Customer feedback is the fuel in our engine Documentation feedback is data, and data is everything
- WTD Newsletter – July 2020 Gathering documentation feedback Advice on getting feedback from a variety of sources, including user interviews and internal surveys
- WTD Newsletter May 2019 Collecting and acting on user feedback Roundup of insights into how documentarians collect and apply user feedback
Bring your thoughts and questions, and attend for as long as your schedule allows. Our goal is to give you an opportunity to support and network with each other.
The discussion is on Zoom. We’ll post the links on the Meetup event by the previous evening. To attend, you must RSVP to the Meetup event. We use the attendees list to screen out Zoom bombers, so it's especially helpful if you have the same display name in Zoom as your name on Meetup.
