AI-Powered Chatbots Meetup

Join us for a focused and friendly conversation about AI-powered chatbots on December 13. AI-powered chatbots are being deployed in docs search, customer service interactions, and communication platforms like Slack. Some of us have set them up and used them. What are AI-powered chatbots, and how do they work? What does it take to set one up? What are the pros and cons of using them? Let’s share what we know and learn from one another.

Here are a few questions to get us started:

• What is an AI-powered chatbot?
• Does your organization use an AI-powered chatbot? Where? In customer support, internal tech support, docs search, or…?
• Have you set up or configured an AI-powered chatbot?
• Has your organization opted to not use AI-powered chatbots? Does your organization have concerns about using them? Do you?
• How do AI-powered chatbots work? What makes them different from “normal” chatbots?
• What makes the chatbot better than a search engine?
• Is there a “right way” to use AI-powered chatbots?
• What considerations go into finding the right AI-powered chatbot for your use case?
• What should tech writers know about training AI-powered chatbots on existing documentation? For example, how should docs be formatted for easy AI consumption?
• Chatbot interactions might require troubleshooting and fine-tuning. What does that process look like?
• What can we learn from monitoring chatbot interactions?
