Talk abstract:
Google Season of Docs (GSOD) supports open-source projects to improve their documentation and gives professional technical writers an opportunity to gain experience in open source.
In this talk, Heather Cloward will share her experiences and learnings contributing to Redocly’s open-source documentation as part of the 2021 GSOD program. Heather will share her story of how she quickly established trust, built rapport with Redocly’s open-source community, and leveraged her GSOD experience to become a full-time employee at Redocly.
About the speaker
Heather is a highly motivated, technical writer with a solid track record of performance in an Agile environment. She has over a decade of experience in technical communication and currently works as a Staff Technical Writer at Redocly. She loves learning new things and reading good books in her spare time.
