Join North Carolina Write the Docs for a social hike on the beautiful Bolin Creek Trail!
Network, swap stories, and make new friends in the field of technical writing. All are welcome, whether you are a 20-year career writer, someone contemplating entering the documentation field, or anything in between.
The trail is entirely paved to Umstead Park with some short, moderate hills. The route is 2.1 miles out and back for a 4.2-mile total distance.
Details:
- When: April 13th @ 1:00PM EST
- Where: Meet at the Gene Strowd Rose Garden, near the Chapel Hill Community Center.
- Distance: 2.1 miles out and back (4.2-miles total)
- Who: Technical writers, career changers, editors, students, content strategists, and anyone in related fields who enjoys nature and good conversation about documentation!
What to bring:
- Snacks and water
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Comfortable walking shoes
Food: After the hike, join us for food and drinks at Bartaco, or one of the other restaurants at the nearby University Place shopping center.
