Virtual Meetup: AI Show and Tell

Hello, Write the Docs PDX!

Come to the next meetup! It’s a *virtual* show and tell about artificial intelligence and technical writing. Wow! 🤩

We’ll have three (3) members of the Write the Docs PDX community showing and telling us about how AI helps them solve documentation problems:

• Lyn Landon will show us how to use AI tools to automate drudgery, have a friendly assistant who never gets tired of your questions, and to check code to see what it does, and how.
• Michelle Knight will show us how to apply data governance principles to documentation to ensure it’s ready for AI and its efficiencies.
• Scott Lindsey will show us a custom AI tool that automatically documents codebases, and will talk a bit about automating with LLM APIs.

Please join us via Zoom on Wednesday, April 2, 6:30 - 8 PM Pacific Time.

We’re keeping it pretty informal, so we’ll make sure there’s time for questions, thoughts, and perhaps a little chit chat. Bring a beverage for yourself and some curiosities to share with the group.
