Part II of the genre experimentation workshop!

In Part I, we experimented with starting to write a scene in two different genres you don't usually write in. For Part II, you are encouraged to take one of those experiments and turn it into a full scene, approx. 750-1000 words.

If you're comfortable sharing your scene, upload it, with a file title that includes your target genre, into the "Genre Experimentation Workshop Submissions" folder in the AWG Dropbox Submission and Feedback Folder. Please post it by Monday, Nov. 2, so everyone can read it before the session.

Then, we'll be having a positive-only critique: since you have very little time to polish what you're uploading, we're going to bend our usual critique format and use the time to point out only what our authors did well, with an extra focus on how they used tools and techniques discussed last time to evoke their desired genre.

Everyone is invited to provide positive-only critique, even those who weren't present for Part I.
