AWG Meeting - In Person - Pitching and a Pitch Game

You've worked for years on your project, you've poured your heart and soul into it. There are nuances and levels and mysteries and craft and love.

"That's great, Writey, tell me the story in three sentences."

That's the dread "elevator pitch," and hate it or despise it, you need it.

Sarah will lead a discussion on the art of the pitch and then we'll play a little game.

Volunteers will have 90 seconds to explain their novel. The group then has 2 minutes to craft a three sentence pitch for that story. We collect the cards, read them aloud and vote on the "winner."
