🌲 Writers on the Rails: Seattle to Portland Day Adventure ✍️🚆
Join us for a full-day creative escape as we ride the train from Seattle to Portland together for a day of writing, connection, inspiration, and exploration.
We’ll meet bright and early at Seattle’s King Street Station and board the train to Portland. During the ride, we’ll settle into a relaxed writing session with prompts, quiet creative time, conversation, and the kind of scenery that makes you want to write poetry on napkins.
Once we arrive in Portland, we’ll grab lunch together before spending the afternoon exploring the city at an easy, inspiration-filled pace. Think bookstores, cafés, murals, parks, people-watching, hidden corners, and spontaneous moments that end up in future stories.
Whether you’re working on a novel, journaling, writing poetry, dreaming up your next project, or simply craving creative community, this trip is about getting out of routine and back into inspiration.

• Participants are responsible for purchasing their own train tickets and meals
• We’ll share recommended train times and booking details closer to the event
• This event is beginner-friendly and open to all creative levels
• You do not need to “be a real writer” to join us. If you feel called to create, you belong here
