What we’re about
The Writers Asylum was originally founded in Los Angeles in the late 1990s to support other writers, providing a safe space for those who seek out constructive criticism, positive feedback, and like minded camaraderie. Now here in Southern Oregon, the Writers Asylum is open for YOU!
Our meetings are designed for two main reasons: first, to read each other’s work; second, to support that work with constructive feedback to further foster that writer’s confidence and growth as a writer.
Although the initial aim of the group was to support screenwriters, the group in its present incarnation is open to all writers of any level of experience.
