Hi, this is Writers’ Block, a new writing Meetup group in Seoul.
Every week we meet together to discuss what we are writing, provide feedback to each other, and do fun writing activities. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and find a community of fellow writers. Whether you are new to writing and just getting started, working on your first short story, or have already published multiple books, you are welcome.
We strive to foster an inclusive space for people from all backgrounds to come and share their shared love for writing and literature.

This is Monte and Sheikh.
Welcome to the writing meetup of Writers’ Block. Our meetings are semi-informal in nature, where we get to know fellow writers from all over the world and try to understand the perspective they bring in whilst cultivating our writing skills. Writers of all levels are welcome.
The meeting is conducted in English, however, you are free to write in any language you want. Expats and locals are all welcome.

This is a big cafe and we are usually on the fourth floor. If you are having a hard time finding us, please reach out to Kakao (id: skshafayat or montecollins). One of us will pick you up.Our typical meeting goes like this (90 minutes):
15:00 - 15:15: Introduction and icebreaker (using the weekly prompt)
15:15 - 15:30: Brief description of current projects
15:30 - 16:15: Focused free writing
16:15 - 16:30: Time for feedback/discussion
16:30: Socializing and closeout
What to bring:- Writing medium (pen/paper, laptop, ipad etc)
- A smile :)
