What we’re about
This group is based in Georgia but will almost exclusively be held via Zoom. This is a writing and critique group where creative writers can gather to further cultivate their craft of fictional and nonfictional writing. All are welcome from beginners to those with great experience.
Meetups will involve several volunteers reading for 10 minutes from whatever they are currently writing/have written. This will be followed by several minutes of discussion on the piece, full of what people liked and also constructive criticism. This is a critique group so constructive criticism as well as support are at the center of what we do.
The idea for the group has come from not just improving and learning writing skills, but also engaging with other writers and enjoying the practice of creative writing. Writing can be challenging and feel hard work at times, but it is the writers' initiative to push her or himself forward for whatever targets their have in mind.
Join this group if you are a creative writer of any medium, of any skill level, and writing about any topic. Join this group from anywhere in the world if the times of meetups work for you. Expect a friendly and professional atmosphere.
