This month's featured presenter is Jo-Ann Yeoh.
She grew up in Malaysia and lives in Singapore. Her first novel, Impractical Uses of Cake, won the Epigram Books Fiction Prize 2018 and in 2020, her story Dog Tiger Horse won the Boston Review’s Aura Estrada Short Story Contest. She is currently working on her second novel and a collection of short stories on the theme of family and food in Southeast Asia.
She is the current writer in residence at the Jack Kerouac House.

~Admission is free. There is no cover charge or fee of any kind.
~Newbies or seasoned veterans welcome. There's no experience or skill level required. Come in and share some of your work, whether it's an essay, short story, poetry, part of a novel, radio play, screenplay, or limericks.
~Please keep your reading/presentation to 5 or 6 minutes (or about 1,000 words). After that, we throw things. No, really.
~A sign-up sheet is available starting at 7:00 PMish. Mingle for a few minutes, grab some beverages if you like. The food menu is currently limited.
~If you don't want to read, you don't have to — you can chill and listen and support your fellow writers.
Covid Note: We encourage ALL attendees to be vaxxed and boosted. We are in favor of masks and will have extras available for those who need them. Hand sanitizer will also be available, as well as alcohol wipes for cleaning mics between presenters
