What we’re about
Sozo Coffeehouse has a main floor and study rooms in the back. We meet in the study rooms, usually Room #2 on Saturdays, and Room #3 on Thursdays (due to availability). However, this can change, so please check below in the meeting location section to find which meeting room we're in for sure. If you can't find us, please inquire with the barista.
We are local area writers, those who want to be writers, or are published authors.
This is a time to talk writing, meet other writers, and both seek and give help. We are all working toward completing a manuscript that we hope to publish, or we are beginning writers or working to improve our craft. Most meetups range between 1.5-3 hours, however, those with other obligations are encouraged to come and go as needed.
There is a workshop element to this meetup. Workshop feedback is given however the writer directs and is cognizant of the trust given in sharing work.
