Writing about Women in the Military

Are you interested in reading about women in the military? Are you writing about women in combat zones, or women who support operations in any way?

This group is open to everyone who wants to engage in thoughtful, open discussions.

The goal of this group is to bring together people with military experiences, as well as civilians, contractors, foreign service officers, NGO staff, etc. This group is for people who deployed to combat zones, those who have supported from Stateside, and others who support women’s experiences and stories.

This group will provide a venue where we can share experiences, provide support, and discuss our stories.

We will start with two types of in-person activities: (1) a monthly book club where we will discuss books written by and/or about women in combat and (2) a monthly writer's workshop where members can share their own writing (or desire for writing). Any type of writing would be welcome: from non-fiction memoirs to science fiction or fantasy. Let’s talk about it!
