Hey!
I think the online dating platforms are absolutely horrible. And it feels like companies' pressures to make money, make them create something that doesn't benefit anyone.
I've been on both sides of getting lots of matches and no matches.
Both were horrible in different ways.
I want to start something where people can decide the rules, what's best for everybody, and can suggest changes and implement them.
Something where people don't make money at the expense of others.
First meeting:
- Deciding on what different problems are with today's platforms that we want to address.
- Some brainstorming around different ideas to fix it.
- Deciding on next steps.
I suggest that we meet up at Linnéplatsen, and head to a place like a bar or café to discuss it.
It would be great to have a mix of different people.
There has to be a balance in genders.
Will start it if at least 10 people sign up.
If it can be done, it could help a lot of people out.
Final goal: An open source dating platform that others can build on and change.
