Hello!
Welcome to the Writing and Drinking at the Same Time group. The goal of this group is for writers or editors (that's you) to come work on a project, get a beverage (whether that's coffee, water, tea, or an alcoholic sort) and write! This is similar to the concept of Shut Up and Write but I wanted it to be more open and rotate locations around the cities to find new and cool place to try.
At this meetup, we will likely write for an hour or 90 minutes (come whenever!) and then if folks are interested we can stay after and chat.
I am always happy to accept location recommendations and ideas for running the group!

Writing and Drinking and (Maybe Some) Talking at Relish - with optional trivia!
Relish, 700 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN, USOur next event will be a hybrid writing event and the option to stay for Trivia!
We will be meeting at 5 pm at Relish in Minneapolis (note the earlier than usual start time). All you need to bring is what you prefer to write with - notebook, laptop + charger, or typewriter will suffice. After around an hour to 90 minutes, we will then begin the talking portion if you wish to leave. No hard feelings!!
Vibes: Relish in Minneapolis was known by many names (The Bad Waitress, etc.) before this one stuck! Relish takes the term "breakfast for dinner" very seriously, and has a bunch of fun breakfast items as well as sandwiches and snacks on offer.
Drink offerings: The usual cocktails and wine, as well as COFFEE!
Parking: Street parking, or there is a visiting lot across the street. Download the Minneapolis Parking app for an easier time.
Outlets: Plan to come with your devices charged if necessary!
Wifi: There is a free network, thankyou is the password.
Accessibility: There are a few stairs to get into the building.
Public Transit: Relish is on the 10, 4, and 61 bus lines.
