What we’re about

Calling all writers—especially beginners—looking for inspiration beyond the page! Join us for a fun and casual writing challenge at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Whether you’re a poet, fiction writer, or just curious to start writing, this is a space to get out of your head, soak in the art, and spark creativity with other writers. We will have some fun writing challenges as a group and individual based on the art in the museum!

Calling writers of all levels! Writer’s block or not, we all need inspiration. Come join me for a fun writing challenge at the Met and let the art inspire us!
Challenge Description:

Find one piece of art that called to you and write about it in any genre of your choosing (aim for 2 paragraphs max)

Find another piece of art for your assigned challenge buddy for them to write about it!

I will assigned the whole group one piece of art and we’ll all write about it!

At the end, we’ll share our writing if you’re comfortable!
This is all for fun and inspiration!

For tickets to the Met, for NYC residents you can donate what you want! If you’re not a NYC resident, I have a membership where I can bring a guest so just message and let me know ahead of time!
