Details
Writing Sapphic - ATL presents a March Prompt Based Feedback Circle
- Location: Monday Night Brewing - The Grove in the Conference Room
- When: March 29th, 2026 - Sunday at 5-8PM.
Writing Prompts to pick from for this meeting (You can write all, but only choose one to share, or combine them all in one story):
- Be careful what you wish for.
- Right place, wrong time.
- Garden Nymph.
All forms of creative writing welcome. Short stories/flash fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, personal essays, screen writing, lyrics, comics, etc.
I will provide a google drive where you can add your story to. I will send the link closer to the date of meeting/in comments as well.
Please come prepared, as we will be sharing work inspired by the creative writing prompts and receiving/giving feedback in a feedback circle.
*Please note: It's okay if you didn't finish the story! You can still come and share what you have for feedback*
------------------------------------------------------------------------
A space for Sapphic Creatives to hone their craft and build community and socialize in Metro ATL.
Have you been wanting to get back into writing? Looking for a sapphic writing community? Join our events to get inspired with our writing prompts!
Our aim is to create a safe space for sapphic people to foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and a sense of community, discover new ideas, share your work, and receive supportive and constructive feedback from fellow participants in the Feedback circle.
General set up:
- This will be a monthly Feedback Circle for 3 hours.
- Limit of 15 sapphic individuals.
- Event is FREE. But Please support the venue for their generosity and purchase beverage(s) or food.
- Please come 15 to 30 minutes earlier to purchase a drink/food from venue. Please be mindful of our limited time at venue. All attendees deserve feedback on their stories and to not feel rushed. Due to time, depending on size, be prepared to give 1 positive and 1 constructive feedback. If the Writer requests more in depth feedback, feel free to leave feedback at the end of their written work/leave comments after the event!
- Event will begin with instruction, intros and what type of feedback each person would like to receive.
- Please bring a device to read your story (phone, Ipad, laptop, printed copy). Be sure to submit to google doc link prior or at beginning of event so everyone has a copy of your prompt/written work.
- We recommend bringing a notepad/make notes of feedback from the feedback circle.
We encourage short stories to be 250-2,000 words maximum. Poetry/other forms of writing are welcome just as long as it's prompt related :)
No prior writing experience is necessary – all skill levels are welcome.
