Hi,
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 29th. It will be held online, so we invite you to watch it on our YouTube channel.
As usual, we will start the meeting at 6:00 PM. After about 15 minutes of introduction, the presentations will begin.
1. Grzegorz Wojciechowski - "Parallel processing"
In a world where a majority of devices use multi-core CPUs, parallel processing is a very important problem. The majority of you heard and probably even used multithreading, but this is not the only way to achieve parallelization. In the presentation, I want to discuss different parallel models of processing data used in my C++ engine.
BIO: I've been programming since when I was 12 years old, started with Pascal but quickly moved to C++ which I use these days. I worked for companies like Techland, Ubisoft Montreal, Sumo Digital, Unity Technologies, and Huawei. In my free time, I'm working on a custom technology stack that will allow me to make games.
