January 18th, 2025 meeting

Details

Hello!
Next meeting will be January 18th at 2:00 at the Nutcracker Restaurant. Sheriff Mike Carpinelli will be our speaker. Please try to come. We miss you all! Let’s start the New Year right!
Just some information ahead of time: Patriot Assembly will reimburse Sheriff Carpinelli for gas: est. mileage (round trip Lowville-Webster, 280 miles @ $ .30/mile, or $84) + provide lunch + provide a $75 honorarium.
Some highlights from our minutes:
Because this was a meeting which everyone could talk about anything they wanted, I was a bit laxed to the minutes, since there were different topics that were talked about. This is the type of meeting folks should go to so they can absorb everything that is said.
Some things mentioned:
--We must get involved more with other groups to fight NY State for the next 2 years. New Touch Screen Election Machines may be used in 2026. The next Governor race against Hochel is in 2026. I, myself, don’t know who would run against her but we can only hope.
--The School Board in Greece keeps the kids in school by feeding them breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most of the students typically attend such classes (and examinations) at the tutor’s schools in the afternoon and evening in addition to their normal schooling. A normal school day starts at 8.15 AM and finishes from 13.15 (1:15) to 15.00 (3:00) depending on the school. The reason? More time to indoctrinate and less time at home with parents. [I’m trying to find more information about what time dinner is served but I haven’t found anything yet.]
--We had an extensive discussion about law enforcement and how reliable LEOs are as defenders of civilians in their AOs. We pretty much concluded that, for the most part, their conduct is shaped by their paymasters. While understandable to a point--after all they are human and do have families to support--it is frustrating. The assembly agreed we should try to invite a Sheriff who might be more attuned and faithful to CSPOA standards of conduct. Sheriff Baxter is the Monroe County Sheriff, but he is not someone we can trust. [I did talk to Jim about this and suggested Sheriff Milby (Wayne County). Jim did call former Sheriff Mike Carpinelli, and he has agreed to come to our next meeting to answer any questions we have.
--Be sure to listen to WYSL!
Thank you.
