Breaking Down Silos with The 4X Method™
Details
Like a prairie landscape, many modern businesses are populated with silos. While silos serve a useful purpose in farm country, they can be detrimental to businesses, isolating individuals and teams from each other and ultimately preventing organizations from realizing their full potential.
As a technical writer, you likely encounter the negative results of silos in your organization every day—individuals using different terminology when talking about the same things, teams setting conflicting goals, and chaos and dysfunction resulting. There must be a better way.
Join Write the Docs Calgary at our next meetup on Tuesday, June 16. Cory Davison, an experience design expert and AI strategist, will introduce us to The 4X Method™ (www.the4xmethod.com), a framework she has developed that enables organizations to break down their silos and focus their efforts on four mission-critical experiences (or Xs): Customer (CX), Employee (EX), Product (PX), and Brand (BX). She’ll explain how technical writers can leverage their existing unique positions and skill sets to contribute to efforts to transform their own organizations.
This meetup will be held online through Zoom. A Zoom link will be provided closer to the meetup date.
