ITINERARY

DAY 1 - JANUARY 18 - Begin your journey as you arrive at Kona International Airport (KOA). We will greet you at the airport and provide a convenient, stress-free transfer to your accommodations. Once you arrive at your hotel, you’ll have time to check in, freshen up, and relax before meeting the group for our Welcome Reception and get excited for the exciting days ahead.

DAY 2 - JANUARY 19 - We will journey to Hilo, where lush landscapes and breathtaking sights await. Explore the Hawaiian Tropical Botanical Garden, a paradise of vibrant flowers and exotic plants. Then, marvel at the 442-foot ʻAkaka Falls and the misty beauty of Rainbow Falls, perfect for stunning photos. Enjoy a delicious lunch as we soak in Hilo’s serene beauty. We’ll end with a relaxing dinner, reflecting on the unforgettable sights of Hawaii.

DAY 3 - JANUARY 20 - We will start the day at Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll witness the raw power of Kīlauea. Walk through lava fields, see steam vents in action, and explore lush rainforests and lava tubes shaped by past eruptions. Next, we’ll journey south along the island’s rugged coastline, stopping at Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach, where you might spot sea turtles basking in the sun. Take in breathtaking ocean views as we explore this remote and scenic part of the Big Island.
In the afternoon, step back in time at Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, a sacred place of refuge in ancient Hawaii. Walk among historic temple ruins, towering wooden carvings, and royal fishponds while soaking in the peaceful oceanfront setting.

DAY 4 - JANUARY 21 - Enjoy a day to explore the Big Island at your own pace! You can book excursions in advance through a link that will be provided. Options include snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, a manta ray night dive, ziplining over waterfalls, or a sunset cruise. For a more relaxing day, visit a spa with lava-heated pools, or take a Kona coffee farm tour. Shopping at Hilo Farmers Market or sampling local flavors on a food tour are also great choices.

DAY 5 - JANUARY 22 - Today, we’ll set sail on an unforgettable whale-watching tour, where you’ll have the chance to see majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. Keep your camera ready—you might spot dolphins or sea turtles along the way! In the evening, we’ll come together for a traditional Hawaiian luau, complete with a delicious feast and captivating cultural performances. Enjoy an authentic island experience as you watch hula dancers, fire knife performers, and storytellers share the rich history of Hawaii.

DAY 6 - JANUARY 23 - Our final full day on the Big Island will be all about relaxation and soaking in the beauty of Hawaii. Spend the day at one of the island’s stunning beaches, whether you prefer sunbathing on soft white sand, swimming in crystal-clear waters, or simply enjoying the peaceful ocean breeze. In the evening, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner, sharing laughter, stories, and the unforgettable moments we’ve experienced together.

DAY 7 - JANUARY 24 - You will be transferred back to the Kona International Airport (KOA) for you flight back to the mainland USA
