My 9-yr old son will be on this trip so if you want an "adult only" trip this is not the trip for you although he's quite the adult from traveling with so many. Preference will be given to those who have been on a CRAP/VAMOS trip in the past.

If you have not been on one my trips, I must have a zoom meeting or meet you in person before you can attend this trip.

9 Days/8 nights. 4 days cruising around the Galápagos Islands on a quaint and cozy boat and 5 days seeing city sites and mountain hikes.

Day 1 (Feb 17, Sat) QUITO ARRIVAL DAY
Welcome to Quito! Explore the old town of Quito and the surrounding area. VAMOS can help to organize a day trip.

Day 2 (Feb 18, Sun) QUITO CITY TOUR & CABLE CAR
Enjoy a panoramic view of Quito via the Cable Car. At 4,000 meters above sea level, enjoy a walk in the open air. Hike to Pichincha Volcano. B

Day 3 (Feb 19, Mon) Arrival to Baltra – Bachas Beach
AM - Arrival at Baltra airport. PM – Bachas Beach. Around noon you will embark on the Archipel cruise. B, L, D

Day 4 (Feb 20, Tue) Genovesa: Prince Phillip’s Steps - Darwin Bay
AM - Prince Philip’s Steps PM - Darwin Bay. Inside the submerged caldera of Genovesa lies Darwin Bay. B, L, D

Day 5 (Feb 21, Wed) Bartolome and Sullivan Bay
AM - Bartholomew Island. PM - Sullivan Bay. L, D

Day 6 (Feb 22, Thu) Twin Craters and El Chato Reserve
AM - Twin Craters and El Chato Reserve. Later, we are taken to Baltra airport. B

Day 7 (Feb 23, Fri) COTOPAXI FULL DAY
After a last dip in the open-air hot springs, we drive on the Pan-American Highway to the highest active volcano in the world, Cotopaxi. D

Day 8 (Feb 24, Sat) QUILOTOA FULL DAY
Cultural tour at Saquilisilí. Later, a hike down into the Laguna Quilotoa. B

Day 9 (Feb 25, Sun) TERMAS DE PAPALLACTA – DEPARTURE DAY
International departures, end of services. We wish you a “buen viaje”!

Accommodations and facilities Catamaran offers eight cabins above the waterline, with two sea-view windows. They include clean private facilities, hot/cold water, low beds, air-conditioning, and storage space for a comfortable stay. The Archipels boast ample social areas that will complement a comfortable stay. The lounge, solarium, resting areas & ‘Al Fresco’ dining area are all great choices for you to relax and enjoy the nature that surrounds you.

We will place folks in twin bed cabins according to gender but depending on who signs up when, you could be in a mixed-gender room.

No single supplement available on boat but for hotel portion of trip it is $245 (if available).
