WV Tabletop Gaming is a game night meet up for everyone who loves tabletop board and card games.  We are centralized in Charleston, WV.  This a new group trying to grow so that we have enough members to play on any given night.

What do we mean by table top games?

Contemporary games that fall within the German or Euro Style, and games of the style often played on Web Series TableTop.

This means we are not talking about your classic family games like Monopoly or Scrabble, we are not talking about hearts, solitaire, or poker either. If you do like these games, feel free to come along and try some new ones.

Current popular games are Pandemic, Small World, Mysterium, Ticket To Ride, Splendor, Codenames, Spyfall, Survive, 7 Wonders, Lifeboat, Space Alert, and King of New York/Tokyo.

This list also includes card based games such as Magic the Gathering and Deck building games (Legendary, DC Comics Deck Building, and Dominion).

We also have discussed doing D&D, Star Wars, or Shadowrun Campaigns and have a great DM to run any of them.

Just bought a game you want to try out?

Bring it along! We are always eager to try new things. A good idea is to post the name of the game in the event comments to see if anyone is interested.

We play for fun, not for competition, and we love playing new games.

If you are new to a game, we are happy to explain rules to you before we play.

Where will the events be located?

Since the group is young, we can decide if someone in the group wants to host a night at their house.  If we grow too big, then we can look at our options of renting out spaces in the area.  That would be a good problem to have.

How often will events happen?

We are shooting for once a week to start with, but depending on the interest we can change that as needed.  We can make it every two weeks if once a week is too much.  If we get big enough, we can do multiple nights a week to accommodate the different schedules of those involved.  This is open for discussion.
