Adopt-a-Trail Monitoring at the Coquitlam River!

Details

Join us in caring for the Coquitlam River and the wild salmon that depend on it!

We are excited to invite volunteers to participate in our ongoing trail monitoring activities. Each week, Watershed Watch staff meet with volunteers at the north end of Gabriola Drive for a one-hour trail walk where we remove graffiti, pick up litter, and report any concerns, such as fallen trees or signs of pollution, to the City.

No experience is needed, and all supplies are provided. This is a hands-on way to be a good steward for the river, the watershed, and the salmon that call it home.

🌧️ Rain or shine—we’ll be out there on the trail!

🚇 Need a lift? Pickup from Lafarge Lake–Douglas SkyTrain Station at 8:45 AM can be arranged. Email sean@watershedwatch.ca

❓🙋‍♀️ Questions? Email sean@watershedwatch.ca

Running late? We will head down the trail a few minutes after 9 am. Give Sean a call at 778 697 4364 to meet up if you are running late. We'll be wearing a hi-vis vest and should be easy to spot!
