Help out at the 3rd annual Salmon Day in Coquitlam!

Watershed Watch is co-hosting our third annual Salmon Day on Saturday, October 4, along with Resilient Waters, Kwikwetlem First Nation, and UBC's Zachary Sherker from the Pacific Salmon Lab. The event will be held next to the community garden at ƛ̓éxətəm (Colony Farm) Regional Park.
We need volunteers to help with setup and teardown, manning info booths, supporting exhibitors and attendees, and other tasks. No prior experience is necessary; we will get you up to speed at the event!
The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Setup is from 9:30 - 11 am and tear down from 3 - 4 pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided for volunteers.
Carpooling from Coquitlam Central Station can be arranged. Pickup from the skytrain will be at 9 am. Email meghan@watershedwatch.ca to coordinate.
