Help out at Canada Day in Coquitlam on Wednesday, July 1st!

Weβre looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out at our table in the Eco Zone of the City of Coquitlam's Canada Day Event on Wednesday, July 1, 2026!
π Location: Town Centre Park (exact booth location TBC)
π Time: Arrive at 3:00 PM and assist us with running our booth until 8:00 PM (event runs from 12:00 PM β 10:30 PM).
π¬ What you'll be doing:
β Helping pack down our display.
β Greeting event-goers and chatting about salmon and watersheds.
β Handing out info and helping guests with our display.
β Encouraging folks to get involved in protecting wild salmon!
π Perks include:
β Feel-good community vibes.
β Volunteer hours (if needed).
β A chance to talk about salmon all day. π

Important Info
β Confirmation Required: To ensure your spot, please email sean@watershedwatch.ca within 3 days of signing up to confirm your participation.
β Registration Confirmation: After registering, you will receive an email from us confirming your status as a volunteer for Canada Day, along with further instructions and information.
β Parking Details: Public parking may be available around Town Centre Park, Pinetree Community Centre, and Douglas College. π

β Public Transit Access: The Canada Day event is a ten-minute walk from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Skytrain station with a marked path leading to the event grounds. π
