Profile requirements for new members are that you "MUST" upload a nice photo of yourself as the main photo. Are you a Photographer, Model, Hairsylist, Make-up artist or other Creative

I consider myself a photographer and I do give out business cards and take on professional assignments, but only because I love the challenge of doing a good job at weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Quinces, modeling and acting head shots, food shots for restaurant owners, and of public stage performances. Photography is my passion and is something that I plan to continue doing for many years after I retire from my State job in two years--I might even open a studio at that point if I can still travel--travel photography has become my newest endeavor, and I would like to see if I can publish a book someday of my travel photos (with lengthy, descriptive captions associated with my pictures as I am also a good writer). I have become extremely proficient at digital editing using Adobe Photoshop and thoroughly enjoy that aspect of digital photography as well. I also started trying my hand at aerial photography and rented a helicopter last year and managed to take some awesome aerial photographs.

Email your legal name, address & phone # to This is REQURIED. What do you expect to get out of this workshop meet-up?

i'm mostly interested in meeting up with other photography enthusiasts and exchanging and sharing information--if I can learn a few new tricks, that would be nice too! I am always learning and, although I think that I am pretty good after the twelve years that I have been a serious photographer, I am open to constructive criticism and feel that there is always more to learn as I continue to master my "art."

What skills would you like to master, what types of photography would you like to be your specialty?

Being a very "people person" all of my life, the aspect of photography that I am most interested in is that of people and portrait photography, although I view ALL aspects of photography as interesting and challenging.

What other skills do you have, not just photographic? List them. This is REQURIED.

I am fluently bilingual in English and Spanish and speak a little French and Italian (I am actually pure Italian by ethnicity, even though both of my parents and I were born in New York. I have acting skills and have been cast in three TV commercials--two of which were national. I once was the producer and host of a local cable TV show (on WLRN in Miami) called "We Are Not Alone" and I plan on possibly producing another show on the same station after I retire, or possibly before. I also helped commercialize and patent a retail product that sold here in the US and in Canada since December of 2010, which is still selling and on the shelves of retail stores throughout the US and Canada, and I am still receiving royalties for, although the product is now losing popularity and I am receiving much less in royalties for. I have two Masters degrees and although I currently work as an Employment Specialist for the State of Florida, previously I worked as a Medical Social Worker for 12 years

If you are a photographer would you like to sell your images, even if only to pay for your equipment? If you are not a photographer just put N/A

Yes, I have always been interested in selling my images--if only as a validation of my worth and the high quality of the images (and prints--I print most of my own images on photo paper and at all sizes, up to 13" X 19") that I have created, and seeing the look of satisfaction on the faces of clients.

I have been snapping pictures since I was a young teen, but, in early 2000 I bought my first good digital camera and started learning Photoshop--shortly there after I began shooting professionally. I really pursue photography because I love it.
